New ANEL LockFit Bottom Board for Beehives

The ventilated Langstroth plastic bottom board with a removable inspection tray and entrance reducer iis designed to provide maximum functionality, stability, and ergonomics for every beekeeper.

This is a multi-purpose bottom board with full compatibility with both wooden and plastic hives, thanks to its reinforced perimeter frame.

Main Features
• The screened bottom provides excellent ventilation and efficient moisture control.
• The inspection tray can be inserted from either the front or the rear, offering greater flexibility in use.
• The tray can be secured from the rear for permanent installation.
• When inserted from the front, the tray serves as an extended landing board for bees.
• Integrated guides for vertical divider boards are already molded into the bottom board, making it ideal for colony splitting, nuc production, or special hive management.
• Large mounting openings allow the bottom board to be screwed directly onto a pallet, ensuring stability during transport and placement.
• The reinforced perimeter frame ensures a perfect fit with all Langstroth hive bodies, whether wooden or plastic.
• Small openings around the perimeter allow permanent attachment of the hive body to the bottom board.
• Black feet prevent soil and stones from entering the openings underneath the bottom board.
• Special mounting slots allow immediate installation of the external pollen trap (Art. 8154) without any modifications.
• When used as a removable bottom board, connection to the hive body is achieved using metal hive clips or fastening brackets.
Entrance Reducer (Blue or Yellow)

The ANEL LockFit entrance reducer offers safety and ease of use:
• Prevents the entry of wasps, wax moths, snakes, and mice, helping protect the bee colony.
• To close the entrance completely, simply rotate the reducer to the solid side without openings.
• To remove the entrance reducer, gently press it to the left or right; small retaining tabs on the rear side allow easy removal.

Tray & Varroa Monitoring Insert
• The tray features a grid pattern that enables faster Varroa mite counting and provides valuable information about the health status of the colony.
The bottom board is designed for Langstroth hives. The reinforced perimeter frame, onto which the hive body locks, requires an internal hive body dimension of 372x460 mm.
