Bee Remover for Frames up to 28 cm Height
The bee remover is designed for the vertical removal of bees from comb frames up to 28 cm high, making it suitable for both AŽ and Langstroth (LR) frames.
It enables beekeepers to prepare frames more quickly and efficiently before uncapping, inspections, and other hive operations.
This bee-friendly device is considerably gentler on bees than traditional brushing by hand or with a bee brush. It can reduce working time by more than 50% and is especially helpful when creating nucleus colonies or splits.
The bee remover is connected to a 12 V battery (not included) using the supplied battery clamps.
Bee removal is performed by horsehair brushes mounted on two parallel rotating shafts. The shafts rotate in opposite directions, gently brushing the bees from the comb. The honey frame is slowly inserted vertically into the upper opening of the machine using both hands. Push the frame up to the upper edge of the opening and then carefully remove it from the device.
The bees are collected in a container attached securely to the housing by a special clamping plate and spring mechanism. This prevents bees from escaping, even when the machine is used on uneven ground.
After the work is completed, the collected bees can simply be shaken back into the hive.
Cleaning is easy thanks to the stainless-steel construction. Both brush assemblies, including the drive mechanism, can be removed easily by loosening two screws. The machine operates quietly.
