Filtering vessel for vacuum honey filtration, 50 kg

Vacuum honey filtering significantly increases filtration capacity.

The filtering vessel is designed for fine vacuum filtration of honey. It consists of a 50 kg stainless steel container with a large outlet valve, a vacuum lid with a fine filter, and a hose connection for attaching a vacuum pump.

For vacuum filtration, it is important that the filter is hermetically sealed to the container. With the help of a vacuum pump (not included in the delivery), negative pressure is created in the vessel, which allows the honey to be drawn through the filter, significantly increasing the filtration capacity.
A sight window is installed in the vessel to monitor the maximum honey level. Place the filtering vessel at a height corresponding to the height of your storage container into which the finely filtered honey flows.

If you wish to fill finely filtered honey directly into jars, you can install a drip-free honey filling valve (art. 7450) on the outlet, which makes filling easier.
We recommend that the honey used for vacuum filtration is liquid and roughly pre-filtered. A coarse filter is also available to retain larger particles.
The vacuum lid also allows the replacement of the fine filter (mesh opening 0.71 mm) with a very fine filter (mesh opening 0.315 mm), which retains small crystals and very fine particles.
If crystals are retained in the filter, the honey will crystallize much later and will not need to be reheated and decrystallized multiple times. For very fine filtration, it should be noted that the honey must have lower viscosity or be slightly warmed.

Industrial filtration systems use different mesh sizes, as the size of the openings determines which particles are retained and the final purity of the honey.
