The beginnings

The story of our family business began to write itself more than 4 decades ago. The tradition of manufacturing was born in 1979, when the founder Anton Logar decided to start producing beekeeping equipment. With his quality products he showcased Slovenia on the world map as the country of bees and full of exemplary beekeeping practices – while all of that was done from his small workshop.

Through decades the business grew, but remained the same in its core – with respect to the customers and love for the bees.

Nowadays

Family Logar has lived and grew with the business since the founding years. It is currently lead by the 2nd generation and has 25 employees who are part of our story.

With beginnings when the production was run from a small garage, we have used innovation and careful listening to our customers to expand to foreign markets. From the hands of our engineers, our products are being built in the industrial zone in Šenčur, where our own manufacturing and store are being located.

Eighty percent of our high-quality products are exported to more than fifty countries globally, mostly to the countries of EU, where Germany and Austria are our main markets.

Our services and store

In our retail store, we offer a wide variety of beekeeping equipment for both hobbyists and professionals.

With our modern production facilities for stainless steel forming, we offer services like laser cutting (Fe, Inox), CNC bending, punching, curling, deep drawing and TIG welding. With our years of experience with stainless steel, we work closely on R&D and custom-made products with our customers and companies.

We are self-aware that in entrepreneurship world we constantly have to improve and innovate, if we want to offer our customers the best with the signature of Logar brand. Round-the-clock improvements with R&D for new products are one of our core long-term goals, which we follow to carry out our philosophy and day-to-day functioning of the company. We aim for quality and respect among the employees, suppliers, customers and nature.

Exhibitions

Being in touch with our customers at international exhibitions, that we attend annually is very close to our heart. Besides regularly showcasing our products at exhibitions we also attend the International Apicultural Congress Apimondia, where we’ve been present in Buenos Aires, Kiev, Montreal and others.
