SELF-TURNING EXTRACTORS
LOGAR® self-turning honey extractors are suitable for both hobby and professional beekeepers. They are of high quality, produced on site, and made of materials suitable for contact with honey. They are usually used for extracting highly viscous honeys that are difficult to extract, e.g., forest and manna honey, etc.

WORKING PRINCIPLE:
The baskets are equipped with cassettes that face the axis when stationary, during the working process the basket is rotating to the left or right and the cassettes are turned tangentially (parallel) to the barrel. The honeycombs do not have to be turned to the other side, as by changing the direction of rotation (left and right) the honey from both sides of the honeycomb is extracted.

We offer self-turning honey extractors with different drives:
-    motor-driven: the user can adjust the direction and speed of rotation during extracting.
A reliable electric motor with a variable speed control lever allows you to set the speed from 0 - 280 rpm, left or right. The motor-driven extractors have a built-in safety switch that stops the motor if the front lid of the extractor is opened.
-    fully automatic: the spin cycle is fully automatic by selecting the appropriate programme. We recommend this option as it allows the beekeeper to concentrate on other tasks during the extracting process, thus saving time.
The honey extractors with a motor drive and with a fully automatic control have a built-in safety device that stops the operation of the extractor.

Features:
-    welded stainless tap is built in at the lowest point so that all honey can drain out of the extractor,
-    transparent acrylic glass lids allow you to observe the process of extraction.
-    Honey extractors with different numbers and dimensions of cassettes are available. The size of the cassettes should be adapted to the size of the frames used by the beekeeper to achieve an optimal extraction process. The basket cassettes are made of vertical wires of the appropriate density so that the honeycombs are not damaged during spinning, they are connected by a special mechanism. After extraction the honey does not remain in the cassettes, so the honeycombs come out dry.

The bottom heating for the honey extractor is available as additional equipment and enables:
-    easier extraction of honey, especially when extracting for several days,
-    easier cleaning,
-    faster draining of honey from the barrel and better filtering of honey.
