Centrifuge for wax ø 76 cm, insulated

A robust wax extractor that enables fast and efficient melting of old combs or uncapping wax by centrifuging in steam.

ADVANTAGES: Steam centrifugation achieves maximum wax yield even with old combs. The combs do not have to be removed from the frames but are loaded into the centrifuge as they are (the wire remains intact, and the frames do not have to be rewired). In this process, the frames and the wax are disinfected at 100°C.
It does not matter whether the combs are old or if they still contain food, crystallised honey, or pollen. All these substances are melted and separated after cooling down. This way you have enough of your own wax for further processing.

THE PROCESS OF CENTRIFUGING THE WAX:
- Stack as many combs as possible, so that the perforated basket is full.
The centrifuge basket can also be filled with uncapping wax. Place a wax bucket under the ball valve of the machine.
The basket has an inlet connection for a steam generator, which is not included in the delivery range. The optimum power of the steam generator is 6 kW. The insulated outer container ensures lower temperature losses and higher output. The lid has a built-in safety switch that prevents unwanted start-up when the lid is open.
- The centrifuge is started when the wax begins to melt and flows out of the ball valve.
- The program automatic drive enables saving up to 8 program settings.
For each programme, you can set the rotation speed, the time, and the length of the programme.
- When the wax stops flowing out, stop the centrifuge and replace the honeycombs in the basket.
- With a help of a spatula continuously remove the dry pomace that has accumulated at the edge of the basket.
All particles, except the liquid wax, remain in the basket. The wax is yellow and clean, and the remaining pomace is dry and not sticky as the residual wax content is less than 5 %.
