Steam wax melter for disinfection, on wheels

The wax melter is designed for melting old wax. Melting wax with steam is quick, easy, and efficient. Before use, pour water into the bottom of the melter, place the honeycomb frames in the perforated basket, and heat the water to a boil using a gas burner. As the water boils, steam is produced, which passes through the perforated basket and melts the wax. The clean wax begins to flow through the perforated bottom of the cooker’s basket into a collection tray and then through a tube into an external container, while the waste remains in the perforated basket. During this process, the honeycomb frames are cleaned and disinfected. The required cooking time is approximately 60 minutes. Wax caps can also be melted in the cooker.

Care must be taken to ensure there is always water at the bottom of the cooker, which can be checked via the fill tube.

To heat the water in the cooker, use a gas burner placed under the cooker; solid fuels can also be used. The gas burner is not included.

The outer basin of the cooker can also be used to disinfect beekeeping tools, hive bodies, equipment, and frames. To do this, close the drain and fill tubes with a 3/4'' ball valve and a threaded plug. The inner basket and drip tray must be removed beforehand. The cooker is mounted on wheels with brakes, which facilitates easier handling.

It is made entirely of W. No. 1.4301 grade stainless steel.

Dimensions of the outer basin: 68 x 78 x 60 cm; the total height of the basin with wheels is 80 cm; the inner dimensions of the basket are 60 x 70 x 49 cm.
