The wax melter is designed to melt old wax and wax cappings with steam.

Melting waxes with steam is quick, easy and efficient. The water is not heated in the melter, but in a separate container located under the bottom of the melter. This reduces the heating time of the water. The tank is insulated and protected by stainless steel sheeting, which reduces heat losses and the melting time of the waxes.

CAPACITY = 30 - 35 honey combs (depending on the dimensions of honey combs)

CAPACITY = 30 - 35 honey combs (depending on the dimensions of honey combs)
COOKING TIME = time to heat water to steam + approx. 30 minutes (depending on the age of the waxes)
Recommended for beekeepers with 50+ bee colonies.

The wax melter consists of:
- insulated container with lid with silicone seal
- 14 l steam tank installed under the melter with dry running protection
- heater 2,5 kW/230 V with dry running protection
- inner basket with perforated bottom
- conical insert - use only when melting wax cappings (allows steam to circulate)
- 3 detachable legs with wheels attached to the insulated tank

The bottom of the tank is welded without inner edges and sloped towards the outlet to allow the wax to drain out completely. Cleaning the inside of the melter is therefore easy. A wax drain pipe and a steam reservoir top-up pipe are fitted on the outer perimeter of the cooker. Two handles are integrated for easy handling.

WORK PROCESS
Before melting, pour water into the top-up tube of the steam reservoir. Place the honey combs in the perforated basket, cover the melter with the lid, turn on the heater and heat the water to boiling. The boiling of the water produces steam, which passes through the tube in the centre of the bottom of the melter and into the perforated basket. The wax starts to melt and flows out through the outlet pipe into the bucket we put under the melter. The residue remains in the perforated basket.
Heat the water in the melter until all the wax has drained off. Then switch off the heater, open the top lid and take the honeycombs out of the basket.
After the procedure, the combs are cleaned of wax. When cooking is finished, remove the residue in the basket and load the cooker with new honey combs for a new cooking.
You can also melt wax cappings in the melter according to the same procedure as described above.

EQUIPMENT FOR UNCAPPING DIRECTLY ON THE MELTER
With the purchase of additional equipment it is also possible to uncapp the honeycombs directly on the wax melter. You can choose between a beam with thorn when uncapping with a knife or an uncapping stand when uncapping on both sides (for two people). You can stack up to 10 frames with uncapped combs on the tray before putting them into an extractor. The tray for uncapped frames can be mounted directly on the edge of the melter. This way you can use your place more efficiently.

The wax melter must be thoroughly cleaned before uncapping. The honey is separated from the wax caps and flows through the perforated bottom of the basket. As soon as you have assembled sufficient amount of the wax caps, you can melt them with the help of steam directly in the steam wax melter.
