The separating container is intended for external separation of honey and wax during the melting of melizitose combs in the cappings wax melter (art. 3295).

Thanks to the separation container, the melting process of melizitose combs can run continuously – the mixture of wax and honey flows from the drain tap directly into the trough, where the wax and honey are roughly separated.

ADVANTAGES compared to separation inside the melter:
- The beekeeper no longer must wait for the wax in the cappings wax melter container to cool and solidify to remove it.
- The honey is exposed to high temperatures for a shorter time during external separation.
- Higher capacity, as the melting process for one batch takes approximately 1 hour.
- Lower energy consumption.

SEPARATION PROCESS:
- Place the trough under the capping melter and open the drain tap.
- The mixture of melted honey and wax flows into a removable perforated container, which is separated from the rest of the trough by a divider. The wax particles in the honey rise as the mixture flows in. In the first section, the wax remains, while the honey flows through the perforation into the second section of the trough.
- When the trough is almost full, first close the drain tap.
- Lift the removable perforated container with the wax, allow the honey to drain, and remove the wax.
- Pour the honey from the trough through a strainer into a storage container.
- Place the trough back under the melter tap, insert the perforated container and divider, open the tap, and continue separating the next batch.

The separation container consists of three parts:
-main container: dimensions 530 × 325 × 200 mm, capacity 28 l
-removable perforated container: dimensions 325 × 265 × 200 mm, capacity 12,5 l
Both containers have smooth, rounded edges and a reinforced upper rim for easier handling and pouring, suitable for machine washing.
-removable dividing plate ensuring good separation of wax particles from honey.
